This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and your rights. We keep it short and in plain English.

Who we are

This website is run by Creative Spaces (also known as CS Joinery), owned by Sebastian Buczek. Our workshop is at Unit 6, Lyndean Industrial Estate, 127 Felixstowe Road, Abbey Wood, London SE2 9SG. What we collect

• When you send an enquiry through our contact form, by email or by phone: your name, email address, phone number, the type of project and anything you tell us about it, including any photos or plans you send.
• When you become a client: your address, the details of your project, drawings, quotes, invoices and payment records.
• If you buy from our online shop (when it opens): your name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number and order details. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
• When you browse the site: our web server records basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it, and our legal basis

• To reply to your enquiry and give you advice or a quote. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To design, make and fit your project, and to arrange visits, deliveries and payments. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
• To keep financial and tax records. Legal basis: legal obligation.
• To keep the website secure and working properly. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Photos of finished projects: we may photograph our work to show on this website and on social media. We never publish your name or your full address, and we only use photos of your home with your agreement.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when we need to, with:

• service providers that help us run the business, such as our website hosting, email and accounting providers;
• trusted suppliers and fitters working on your project, only where they need your details (for example a delivery address);
• our payment provider, if you buy from our online shop;
• professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, as required by UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not go ahead: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Client and financial records: 6 years after the end of the project, as required for tax purposes.
• Website server logs: for a short period only, for security.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct anything that is wrong;
• ask us to delete your information, where we no longer need to keep it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask us to transfer it to you or to another organisation.
