THE BRIEF

Shower room vanity in Fulham: curves for a compact shower room

The brief

Proper storage in a small shower room, with a design that feels special rather than squeezed in.

Designing a shower room vanity

The wall-hung vanity is round, so it takes up less space and has no sharp corners. Its doors open on a curve to reveal shelves inside, and the mirror swings open to an oak-lined cabinet.

Brushed brass taps and knobs tie the vanity and mirror together against the blue ribbed tiles.

The oval mirror cabinet matches the one in the other bathroom of this home, and its curve is made from flexible ply.

Materials and finishes

  • Fronts: Fluted, curved, painted MDF
  • Colour: Farrow & Ball No. 30 Hague Blue
  • Mirror cabinet: Oak veneer on flexible ply
  • Basin: White fluted
  • Handles: Brushed brass knobs

Fluted fronts have fine vertical grooves. They add texture without extra decoration, and they catch the light beautifully.

Oak is hard-wearing and naturally warm. It ages well and balances painted or white surfaces.

Brass hardware adds a warm, classic accent. Unlacquered brass slowly develops a soft patina, while brushed brass stays even.

Why choose bespoke vanity units?

Bespoke bathroom furniture makes the most of small spaces. It can fit tight gaps, follow curves and hide pipework. Moisture-resistant materials keep it looking good for years.

Made in our South East London workshop

We work from our own workshop in South East London. Each project starts with a measured survey and 3D renders.

Heights, handles and colours are agreed before a single board is cut. And because you talk directly to the makers, questions get answered quickly.
