This bathroom vanity in Fulham is a bespoke floating double design in fluted oak, made for a family bathroom, with a white top, two vessel basins and black taps. It is paired with a set of matching oval oak mirror cabinets. Every piece was designed, made and fitted by Creative Spaces in our own South East London workshop.
White ribbed tiles and a terrazzo floor keep the room bright, letting the warm oak take centre stage.

Bathroom vanity in Fulham: a double vanity in fluted oak
The brief
A bathroom that works for two people at once, with plenty of storage and a warm, natural feel.
Designing a bathroom vanity
The floating vanity runs the width of the room, with wide drawers either side of an open cubby for a basket. Two oval oak mirror cabinets open to oak-lined shelves.
Black bar handles and black taps give a crisp contrast against the fluted oak and white tiles.
The oval oak mirror cabinets make the mirrors work twice as hard: a stylish feature on the wall, with storage hidden behind.
Materials and finishes
- Fronts: Fluted oak veneer
- Carcass: Egger Vicenza Oak H3157 ST12
- Top: White Durasein
- Handles: Black bar handles
- Drawer runners: Grass
- Flooring: Terrazzo
Fluted fronts have fine vertical grooves. They add texture without extra decoration, and they catch the light beautifully.
Oak is hard-wearing and naturally warm. It ages well and balances painted or white surfaces.
White fronts reflect light around the room. That helps in smaller spaces, and white pairs easily with natural timber.
Why choose bespoke bathroom vanities?
Bespoke bathroom furniture makes the most of small spaces. It can fit tight gaps, follow curves and hide pipework. Moisture-resistant materials keep it looking good for years.
Made in our South East London workshop
Nothing in this project came off the shelf. It was drawn as a 3D design and cut on the CNC machine in our South East London workshop.
Our own team then assembled and finished it. That control is what lets us build accurately around real walls, ceilings and floors.

Questions about this bathroom vanity in Fulham
Do you make bespoke bathroom vanities in Fulham?
Yes. This project was designed, made and fitted for a home in Fulham, and we regularly travel from our South East London workshop to work across Fulham and nearby areas such as Chelsea, Parsons Green and Putney. Every piece is made to measure for the room it goes into. We also work throughout London and across the whole of the UK, so wherever you are, we would be happy to talk about your project.
Is bespoke joinery suitable for a bathroom?
Yes, as long as the right materials are used. We use moisture-resistant boards and finishes for bathroom furniture, and plan ventilation and sealing carefully so the joinery lasts.
Can a vanity unit be made to fit a small bathroom?
Yes. A wall-hung or curved vanity can be shaped to the room, making space feel larger while still giving proper storage for towels and toiletries.
How long does a bespoke vanity unit take?
It depends on what stage your home is at. If everything is ready, design to fitting usually takes around 1 to 2 months, and sometimes we can have it made and fitted in the same month you first come to us. Once we know more about your project, we will talk the dates through with you and agree them together.
Do you make matching mirror cabinets?
Yes. Mirror cabinets can be made to match the vanity, with shelves inside and optional lighting, so the bathroom feels like one complete design.
Client tips: planning a bathroom vanity in Fulham
- Fix the plumbing first. Agree tap and waste positions before the vanity is made.
- Go wall-hung in small rooms. A floating vanity shows more floor, so the room feels bigger.
- Coordinate your trades. We can plan fitting dates around your plumber and tiler.
